Constructability Review
We review architectural and structural plans early to identify framing conflicts, improve efficiency, reduce change orders, and create a clearer path to construction.
Frame X Systems delivers more than building products—we provide architect-led, installation-ready cold-formed steel framing systems. From early plan review through precision manufacturing and sequenced delivery, our coordinated approach helps architects, builders, and developers reduce field conflicts, labor demands, material waste, and costly changes. Build with engineered accuracy, dependable performance, and a framing partner focused on solving challenges before construction starts.

Our 3D BIM coordination aligns cold-formed steel framing with architectural, structural, and MEP systems to help eliminate clashes before work reaches the field.
Architect-led collaboration helps project teams refine framing concepts for constructability, engineering feasibility, cost efficiency, and prefabricated steel production.
We develop engineered cold-formed steel framing systems, including load-bearing walls, floors, roofs, shop drawings, and code-compliant documentation.
Factory-built steel wall panels, trusses, and components are manufactured from coordinated models to improve fit, minimize site labor, and accelerate schedules.
Installation-ready components arrive in planned sequence, helping crews reduce jobsite congestion, material handling, and delays during framing installation.

Share project plans and details for a preliminary assessment of scope, constructability, framing strategy, and budget considerations. This early review helps the team identify opportunities before downstream decisions become more costly.

Principal Owner / Architect
Stephen Baker is the Principal Owner and Architect of Frame X Systems, bringing over 28 years of construction and architectural experience to the company he founded. As principal of both Frame X Systems and Baker Architects / Baker Studios, Stephen pioneered the architect-led approach to cold-formed steel framing, built on the belief that constructability challenges should be resolved before construction begins rather than during it. He leads the company's design philosophy, integrating BIM coordination and precision manufacturing to deliver installation-ready framing systems nationwide. Stephen is also a prolific educator, producing video content on construction cost savings, insulation techniques, risk management, and framing package specifications for architects, contractors, and developers. His vision continues to drive FrameX's mission of faster, cleaner, and more efficient construction outcomes for clients across the country.
Frame X Systems provides fully coordinated cold-formed steel framing packages for construction projects. Our work can include constructability review, architect-led design assist, BIM coordination, structural engineering, shop drawings, precision-manufactured wall panels and trusses, and sequenced jobsite delivery. The result is an installation-ready system designed to reduce field fabrication, coordination issues, material waste, and schedule disruptions.
