Steel Truss Engineering
Engineering for cold-formed steel trusses, roofs, walls, and floors includes code-compliant documentation, shop drawings, and coordinated structural packages tailored to your project.
Frame X Systems delivers architect-led, cold-formed steel trusses and framing packages engineered for accuracy, coordination, and installation-ready performance. From Phoenix-area commercial and multifamily projects to custom builds across Arizona, we resolve constructability concerns before materials reach the site. Our integrated design, BIM, manufacturing, and sequenced delivery approach helps teams reduce field labor, avoid clashes, and keep schedules moving.

Coordinated cold-formed steel truss and framing support from early design through sequenced delivery.
Engineering for cold-formed steel trusses, roofs, walls, and floors includes code-compliant documentation, shop drawings, and coordinated structural packages tailored to your project.
Work with an architect-led team early to refine framing concepts, improve constructability, and align prefabricated steel components with the building design.
Technical plan reviews identify design conflicts, framing inefficiencies, and potential coordination issues before construction, helping reduce changes and jobsite disruption.
Detailed BIM coordination aligns cold-formed steel framing with architectural, structural, and MEP systems to reduce clashes and improve installation accuracy.
Factory-built cold-formed steel wall panels, trusses, and framing components are manufactured from engineered models for dependable fit and less on-site fabrication.
Installation-ready components are delivered in planned installation sequence, reducing material handling, jobsite congestion, and delays during the framing phase.
Frame X Systems is more than a truss supplier. Our architect-led team coordinates design, engineering, BIM modeling, precision manufacturing, and delivery into one installation-ready cold-formed steel framing package. For Arizona projects facing intense sun, compressed schedules, and active jobsites, that preparation supports cleaner installation, fewer field adjustments, and better control of labor and material flow. Stamped structural packages are included with shipping and delivery.

Principal Owner / Architect
Stephen Baker is the Principal Owner and Architect of Frame X Systems, bringing over 28 years of construction and architectural experience to the company he founded. As principal of both Frame X Systems and Baker Architects / Baker Studios, Stephen pioneered the architect-led approach to cold-formed steel framing, built on the belief that constructability challenges should be resolved before construction begins rather than during it. He leads the company's design philosophy, integrating BIM coordination and precision manufacturing to deliver installation-ready framing systems nationwide. Stephen is also a prolific educator, producing video content on construction cost savings, insulation techniques, risk management, and framing package specifications for architects, contractors, and developers. His vision continues to drive FrameX's mission of faster, cleaner, and more efficient construction outcomes for clients across the country.
Frame X Systems manufactures precision cold-formed steel trusses as part of coordinated framing packages. The scope can also include load-bearing wall panels, roof framing, floor systems, and related steel components. Each package is developed from engineered project models and documentation, helping commercial, multifamily, institutional, and custom residential teams receive components designed to work together in the field.
