Coordinated steel truss design, engineering, manufacturing, and delivery services built around your project plans.
Structural design and engineering for cold-formed steel trusses, roof systems, and supporting framing, supported by code-compliant documentation and stamped structural packages.
Factory-built cold-formed steel trusses and framing components manufactured from engineered models for consistent dimensions, reliable fit, and less on-site fabrication.
Detailed 3D coordination aligns truss and framing systems with architectural, structural, and MEP requirements to identify clashes before installation begins.
Technical plan review identifies framing conflicts, installation concerns, and opportunities to improve efficiency before they become costly field changes.
Architect-led collaboration helps project teams refine truss layouts, framing details, constructability, and prefabrication strategy during early design stages.
Installation-ready trusses and framing components are shipped in planned sequence to reduce jobsite handling, congestion, and avoidable installation delays.
Frame X Systems turns project plans into fully coordinated light gauge metal truss packages designed for dependable field installation. Our architect-led team combines engineering, BIM coordination, precision manufacturing, and sequenced delivery to help Florida builders address structural demands early, including wind-conscious roof framing considerations. The result is a cleaner jobsite workflow, fewer adjustments, reduced material waste, and a clearer path from approved plans to installed framing.

Principal Owner / Architect
Stephen Baker is the Principal Owner and Architect of Frame X Systems, bringing over 28 years of construction and architectural experience to the company he founded. As principal of both Frame X Systems and Baker Architects / Baker Studios, Stephen pioneered the architect-led approach to cold-formed steel framing, built on the belief that constructability challenges should be resolved before construction begins rather than during it. He leads the company's design philosophy, integrating BIM coordination and precision manufacturing to deliver installation-ready framing systems nationwide. Stephen is also a prolific educator, producing video content on construction cost savings, insulation techniques, risk management, and framing package specifications for architects, contractors, and developers. His vision continues to drive FrameX's mission of faster, cleaner, and more efficient construction outcomes for clients across the country.
Light gauge metal trusses are engineered roof or floor framing assemblies made from cold-formed steel members. They are manufactured to a project-specific design and can provide dimensional consistency, resistance to rot and decay, and reduced on-site cutting compared with conventional site-built framing. Frame X Systems coordinates trusses with the larger framing package so installation teams receive components aligned with approved project documents.
