Constructability Review
We review architectural and structural plans early to identify framing conflicts, improve efficiency, and reduce the change orders that disrupt construction progress.
Frame X Systems delivers more than cold-formed steel materials—we provide architect-led coordination, engineering, precision manufacturing, and sequenced delivery for installation-ready framing. From early plan review through jobsite delivery, our integrated approach helps architects, contractors, and developers reduce field conflicts, control labor demands, and keep complex residential, commercial, and institutional projects moving with greater confidence.

Detailed 3D coordination aligns cold-formed steel framing with architectural, structural, and MEP systems to help prevent clashes before fabrication begins.
Our architect-led collaboration helps project teams optimize layouts, framing strategy, constructability, and engineering feasibility before finalizing the building design.
We develop engineered cold-formed steel framing systems with load-bearing walls, floors, roofs, shop drawings, and code-compliant documentation for complex projects.
Factory-built steel wall panels, trusses, and framing components are manufactured from coordinated models for dimensional accuracy and reduced on-site fabrication.
Installation-ready components arrive in the planned installation sequence, helping crews limit material handling, reduce congestion, and maintain construction momentum.
Frame X Systems brings design, engineering, BIM coordination, manufacturing, and shipping into one connected cold-formed steel framing package. Instead of simply supplying material, we help resolve constructability before construction begins, then manufacture components to the coordinated design. The result is a more predictable path from plans to installation, with fewer field adjustments, less waste, reduced labor pressure, and clearer coordination among project stakeholders.

Principal Owner / Architect
Stephen Baker is the Principal Owner and Architect of Frame X Systems, bringing over 28 years of construction and architectural experience to the company he founded. As principal of both Frame X Systems and Baker Architects / Baker Studios, Stephen pioneered the architect-led approach to cold-formed steel framing, built on the belief that constructability challenges should be resolved before construction begins rather than during it. He leads the company's design philosophy, integrating BIM coordination and precision manufacturing to deliver installation-ready framing systems nationwide. Stephen is also a prolific educator, producing video content on construction cost savings, insulation techniques, risk management, and framing package specifications for architects, contractors, and developers. His vision continues to drive FrameX's mission of faster, cleaner, and more efficient construction outcomes for clients across the country.
Frame X Systems provides coordinated cold-formed steel framing supply services rather than material-only fulfillment. The scope can include plan review, architect-led design assist, structural engineering, BIM coordination, precision manufacturing of panels and components, and sequenced jobsite delivery. This integrated approach gives project teams an installation-ready framing package designed to reduce field fabrication, clashes, RFIs, and avoidable change orders.
