Coordinated design, engineering, manufacturing, and delivery services for installation-ready cold-formed steel framing packages.
Structural design and engineering for cold-formed steel trusses, roof systems, walls, and floors, supported by code-compliant documentation and shop drawings.
Technical plan reviews identify framing conflicts, improve installation efficiency, and address coordination concerns before they become costly jobsite change orders.
Detailed BIM models coordinate steel framing with architectural, structural, and MEP systems to reduce clashes, RFIs, and field modifications.
Factory-built cold-formed steel wall panels, trusses, and framing components are manufactured from engineered models for dimensional accuracy and reliable fit.
Architect-led collaboration helps project teams optimize framing layouts for constructability, engineering feasibility, cost efficiency, and prefabricated steel construction.
Framing components are delivered in installation sequence to reduce material handling, limit site congestion, and keep construction workflow moving.
Frame X Systems is more than a steel truss manufacturer. Our architect-led team coordinates design, engineering, BIM modeling, precision manufacturing, and delivery into one installation-ready framing package. By resolving constructability questions before production, we help architects, contractors, and developers reduce RFIs, limit on-site fabrication, and maintain cleaner, more dependable schedules. Every package is tailored to the project’s structural needs and installation sequence.

Principal Owner / Architect
Stephen Baker is the Principal Owner and Architect of Frame X Systems, bringing over 28 years of construction and architectural experience to the company he founded. As principal of both Frame X Systems and Baker Architects / Baker Studios, Stephen pioneered the architect-led approach to cold-formed steel framing, built on the belief that constructability challenges should be resolved before construction begins rather than during it. He leads the company's design philosophy, integrating BIM coordination and precision manufacturing to deliver installation-ready framing systems nationwide. Stephen is also a prolific educator, producing video content on construction cost savings, insulation techniques, risk management, and framing package specifications for architects, contractors, and developers. His vision continues to drive FrameX's mission of faster, cleaner, and more efficient construction outcomes for clients across the country.
A steel truss manufacturer produces engineered roof trusses and related framing components for a building project. Frame X Systems also supports the work before manufacturing through constructability review, design assist, structural engineering, BIM coordination, shop drawings, and delivery planning. This integrated approach helps ensure the components are designed to fit the project’s structure, interfaces, and installation sequence.
